JoAnne Greenham (Executive Director, Head of Faculty)
JoAnne Greenham has been Executive Director of the Gestalt Institute since 1995. She studied with Harvey Freedman and Jorge Rosner and graduated from the GIT in 1977. She has been a faculty member for the past twenty-five years, and for eight years was a guest faculty member at Gestalt training programs in Sweden and Denmark. In 1963, JoAnne graduated from Physical and Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto and has worked in many Toronto hospitals and treatment centres, including The Clarke Institute of Psychiatry, The Addiction Research Foundation (now the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health), the Toronto General Hospital, and for the Employee Advisory Service, Government of Ontario. She has had a private practice in Toronto since 1979. JoAnne is known for her use of art, dreamwork, and clowning in Gestalt Therapy; her approach is funny, poignant, and powerful.
